CAMBRIDGE — Police released a closed-circuit television image of a man to whom they would like to speak in connection with a Jan. 21 robbery in Cambridge.

The robbery took place at Martins shop on Arbury Court about 12:30 p.m. when a man entered the store, put his hand over the mouth of a 50-year-old employee and demanded money. The employee then opened the till and safe, and the man made off with cash from both, the release accompanying the picture stated.

Man breaks into home, beats resident with batBURY ST. EDMUNDS — An offender broke into a home and then used a baseball bat to attack a man inside, according to a Suffolk Constabulary news release.

The attack occurred around 7 p.m. Jan. 27 and left the victim with a cut on his head. The incident was called an aggravated burglary, although nothing was listed in the release as being stolen.

The suspect is described as male, short and stocky, and was wearing a black balaclava, black gloves and a dark shell jacket.

Assault outside bar leaves man injuredNEWMARKET — A man was allegedly attacked as he left the Temple Bar on Feb. 1, according to a Suffolk Constabulary news release.

The victim was jumped while walking along Wellington Street between midnight and 12:40 a.m. He suffered facial injuries and was unable to recall the details of the assault, the release stated.

Motorcross bikes stolen from garageSTANTON — Police are looking for the thieves who allegedly stole two motorcross bikes from a garage on Sturgeons Way, about 15 miles east of RAF Mildenhall.

The bikes, a green Kawasaki and a white Honda, were reportedly taken between 3 p.m. Jan. 25 and 5 p.m. Jan. 26, according to a Suffolk Constabulary news release. The suspects unscrewed the garage door to remove the bikes.
