Police ask for help in finding missing womanIPSWICH – Suffolk Police are asking for help in locating a 25-year-old Ipswich woman who went missing earlier this month.
Gemma Adams was last seen about 10 p.m. Nov. 14 after leaving her partner near Bramford Road, according to a police release. Police say Adams came to town to work as a prostitute.
Her partner reported her missing about 3 a.m. on Nov. 15 after she failed to come home.
Adams is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall, with a small build and long blond hair. She also has a spotted complexion, the release stated.
She was last seen wearing a black waterproof waist-length jacket with a hood and light blue jeans. Adams also has several gold earrings.
“There may be an innocent explanation why Gemma is missing, however, it is out of her character for her not to return home after working in the evening and not to make contact with her partner,” said Detective Chief Inspector David Skevington, who is overseeing the investigation. “Because of the work Gemma does, we would consider her to be very vulnerable.”
