NEWMARKET — Police have arrested three people in connection with the death of 22-year-old Darren Baker from Burwell, Cambridgeshire, according to a news release from the Suffolk Constabulary.
Authorities suspect the man’s death may be linked to “a quantity” of Ecstasy tablets currently in circulation. He is alleged to have taken the tablets, described as “speckled, two-tone pink, with kangaroo shapes cut into them,” the release reads. An autopsy report is pending.
Last Monday and Tuesday, police arrested two men, ages 22 and 27, and a 22-year-old woman, all from Newmarket, on suspicion of supplying Class A drugs, according to the report. The two younger suspects were later released on bail, according to police.
