CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — Torii Station’s Army Community Services department will hold an information fair Friday to help Army spouses ease their transition to Okinawa.
The fair will include free lunch, financial readiness information, resume writing packets, recreational opportunities and door prizes, according to a news release. It will be held 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at the Coral Cove Club Ballroom.
It will start with a demonstration on how to wear male and female kimonos, said Robin Cordovez, a deployment mobilization program specialist.
Army spouses are encouraged to attend the fair “to basically open up their mind-set to all the different opportunities the Army provides for spouses here,” Cordovez said.
