Three Air Force colonels stationed in Europe have been nominated to brigadier general, the Pentagon said this week.

Col. Dave C. Howe, deputy director of installations and mission support and civil engineer, U.S. Air Forces in Europe headquarters at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

Col. Bradley R. Pray, special assistant to the commander of U.S. European Command and Supreme Allied Commander, Europe at Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe in Belgium.

Col. Steven J. Spano, director of communications and information at U.S. Air Forces in Europe headquarters at Ramstein Air Base.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates announced the nominations Wednesday.
