The U.S. military community in South Korea has announced activities to celebrate Thanksgiving — from prayer breakfasts to fun runs to buffet dinners.

U.S. Army Garrison-YongsanAll are welcome at the military dining facilities at $6.35 for officers, military personnel who receive food allowance, civilian workers and guests; $5.40 for family members of military E-4s and below; and children 6 and younger eat for free.

The times are: Three Kingdoms Inn, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Camp Coiner, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; K-16 Air Base, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Madison Site, noon to 2 p.m.; Yongin, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Commiskey’s Restaurant plans a buffet from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at $17.95 for adults, $8.95 for children 6 to 10, and free for kids 5 and under. A "dinner plate" will be served from 4 to 8:30 p.m. at $11.95 for adults, $5.95 for kids 6 to 10, and free for kids 5 and under.

Navy Morale, Welfare and Recreation will host a meal for all Navy and Marines from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Free to all single and unaccompanied sailors and Marines. Call 725-7731.

U.S. Army Garrison-HumphreysThe Alaska Mining Company offers a buffet from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Prices are $16.95 for adults, $5.95 for children ages 5 to 10, and children under 4 eat for free. Call DSN 754-3101.

The military dining facilities are offering a holiday meal at $5.40 for family members of military E-4s and below and $6.35 for all others.

Kunsan Air BaseO’Malley Dining Facility offers a holiday meal from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. free to all meal card holders. Others will be charged via a la carte pricing.

Yellow Sea bowling center will open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and each game is 50 cents. Call DSN 782-4608.

The Turkey Trot five-kilometer run and two-mile walk are planned at Camp Walker’s Kelly Fitness Center at 9 a.m. Call 764-4225.
