Bases across Okinawa are planning special meals and events for Thanksgiving. Herefs a rundown:
Kadena Air Base
¡ The Officersf Club will feature a buffet from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The cost for club members is $13.95 for adults, $7.95 for children ages 5 to 12, and $3 for younger children. Costs for nonmembers are $16.95, $8.95 and $3, respectively.
¡ The Rocker NCO Club will offer a buffet from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Same cost as the Officersf Club.
¡ The Marshall Dining Facility offers a lunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a la carte pricing. The facility will be closed during dinner hours.
¡ Okuma Recreation Center restaurant will offer a buffet with live entertainment from 1-8:30 p.m. The cost is $16.95 for adults, $8.50 for children younger than 12.
Marine Corps mess halls
¡ All Marine mess halls on Okinawa will host dinners open to family members and SOFA personnel. The cost is $6.35. Mess halls at camps Kinser, Foster, Courtney and Hansen and MCAS Futenma will be open 3-5 p.m. The Camp Schwab Mess Hall will be open 2:30-4:30 p.m.
Camp Schwab
¡ The BeachHead will hold a buffet from 4-8 p.m. Cost is $12.95 for adults and $6.50 for children ages 5 to 11.
Camp Hansen
¡ The Palms will host a buffet from noon to 4 p.m. Cost is $12.95 for adults and $6.50 for children younger than 12.
Camp Kinser
¡ The Surfside will have a buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $15.95 for adults and $7.95 for children younger than 12.
Camp Courtney
¡ Tengan Castle will offer a buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $12.95 for adults and $6.50 for children younger than 12.
Awase Meadows
¡ Awase Meadows will hold a buffet from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Cost is $12.95 for adults and $6.50 for children younger than 12.
Marine Corps Air Station Futenma
¡ The Habu Pit will host a buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $12.95 for adults and $6.50 for children younger than 12.
Plaza Housing
¡ The Butler Officersf Club will offer a buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Cost is $17.50 for adults and $8.50 for children younger than 12.
Camp Shields
¡ The Crows Nest Club will offer a buffet from 1-8 p.m. Cost is $13.95 for adults and $6.95 for children.
White Beach Naval Facility
¡ The Ocean Cliff Club will hold a buffet from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Cost is $13.95 for adults and $6.95 for children younger than 12.
Torii Station
¡ The Coral Cove will offer a Nov. 26 luncheon from noon to 2:30 p.m. Cost is $8.95.
