GRAFENWÖHR, Germany — Telepost Kabel-Service has begun phasing out support of analog cable television services in favor of a digital signal at a number of government housing areas throughout Germany, TKS said in a news release.
TKS said the change would affect about 364 households across 17 housing areas. Customers who have TKS Basic Cable service, will be able to request a free switch to digital television service, where it’s available, TKS said. Those locations that do not have access to the digital cable services will still have access to the AFN analog broadcasts, the TKS release said.
TKS spokesman Steven Kallay said the move from analog to digital should be completed in these locations in the first week of 2014 and that AFN channels will not be affected at this time.
Customers are urged to call the TKS customer service hotline with any questions: 01804-857-762.
