YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan — The Yokota Officers’ Spouses’ Club’s annual Fall Asian Bazaar takes place Saturday and Sunday in Hangar 15. It’s scheduled for 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on opening day and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. the next.

The bazaar is Yokota’s largest, with about 50 vendors from throughout Asia, including Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam. They offer a variety of antiques and furniture, rugs, lamps, jewelry, art, pottery and dishes, mink blankets, obis and kimonos, clothing and many other unique gifts for the holidays. U.S. cash, checks, Visa and MasterCard will be accepted.

The club’s semiannual Asian bazaars serve as the main source of its donations to the Yokota community. More than 75 percent of profits are handed out in scholarships and aid; the rest is used to cover operating expenses.
