VIETNAM: MY EXPERIENCE

Andrew A. Moothart - Army

Stationed at Lai Khe in the Iron Triangle in 1968 and 1969. I remember the daily rocket attacks, being on red alert daily 24/7, living underground in bunkers, guard duty and working on Hwy QL-13.

When I was driving a 5-ton dump truck, an armored piercing round hit the windshield and went through the headache board.
