SEOUL — A sergeant first class at Camp Humphreys was demoted one rank and will spend six months in confinement after admitting in a court-martial Monday to possessing child pornography, according to the Humphreys public affairs office.

Sgt. 1st Class Angelo L. Hernandez had faced a demotion to the Army’s lowest pay grade, E-1, and a bad conduct discharge.

He was accused of attempting to knowingly and wrongfully possess child pornography, according to Area III spokeswoman Susan Barkley.
