A U.S. sailor accused of attempted murder is set to be in court Friday at 4 p.m., according to the Guam Superior Court.
Airman Jonathan Allen Cherry, 18, a member of Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25, was charged last week with attempted murder and possession and use of a deadly weapon, according to court documents. He is being held in lieu of $200,000 bail bond.
The victim, also from the HSC-25, was in stable condition over the weekend at Naval Hospital Guam after the incident last week in Tumon, according to a Navy spokesman.
