YONGSAN GARRISON, South Korea — Army investigators are offering a $1,000 reward in connection with the theft of $25,000 from Yongsan’s post office.
The U.S. Army Criminal Investigative Command, referred to as CID, posted the notice in The Morning Calm military newspaper on Friday.
On March 30 someone “illegally entered the secured registered mail room of the Yongsan Post Office and stole a package containing the U.S. currency,” the notice read.
The reward is offered for information leading to the identification, apprehension and conviction of the person or people involved in the theft.
