Relocated Autoport opens on Guam
The Navy Exchange at U.S. Naval Base Guam opened its new Autoport on Friday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy Terry Scott and base commander Rear Adm. Arthur Johnson cut the ribbon to the renovated facility, according to a Navy release. The Autoport previously was located in a World War II-era Quonset hut.
The new location is more spacious, according to the news release, and consolidates services such as a vehicle safety inspection center, Jackson’s Carwash, Tinting and Detailing and a National Rental Car.
