An airman assigned to Ramstein Air Base in Germany died in Kaiserslautern on Sunday morning, officials said.

The cause of the death, at about 2:30 a.m., has not been determined, according to a news release issued by the base public affairs office.

The airman’s name is being withheld until next of kin have been notified. The incident is under investigation.
