In the two decades that have passed since the Berlin Wall came down, the city has enjoyed a construction boom and regained its status as Germany's capital.

Last month, Stars and Stripes photographer Ben Bloker went to Berlin and brought back photos of a city that's looking to the future amid countless reminders of the past.
