New utilities survey offered
The Department of Defense Per Diem Committee has opened a new survey to gauge overseas servicemembers’ costs for utilities and move-in expenses.
Officials from the 48th Comptroller Squadron at RAF Lakenheath have urged active-duty members residing in rental properties off base in the United Kingdom to fill out the survey, which will help recalibrate utilities and move-in allowances allotted to airmen. The survey asks for servicemembers’ average monthly costs for expenses such as heating fuel, gas, electricity and water, and costs incurred during a move.
The survey will remain open until May 15 and can be found at: https://www.perdiem.osd.mil/oha/survey/aproha.html.
