CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Tribune News Service) — Naval Air Station Corpus Christi has hit another issue with water.
Now the Naval base's wastewater system has partially collapsed, according to a post on the Naval base's Facebook Page.
Housing residents, Navy Lodge and NGIS guests are being asked to minimize the amount of wastewater used. Use of toilets, showers and sinks should be minimized until the proper repairs are made, the Facebook post reads.
It is unknown how long the repairs for the collapse, which occurred on the east and south sides of the base, will take. The collapse may also affect other areas Tuesday, the post states.
The flightline and Corpus Christi Army Depot are unaffected.
