Biden, wife thank troops in Naples

Vice President Joe Biden and his wife, Dr. Jill Biden, stopped by the Navy’s Capodichino base in Naples, Italy, on Saturday to thank the assembled troops for their service.
The two had been in Rome earlier in the week to help commemorate Italy’s 150th birthday as a republic.
“Support the troops, make them work on Saturday,” quipped one sailor before the event began.
Biden noted as much, promising to keep his speech brief since it was a hot Saturday.
