More than 250 airmen and several B-2 Bomber aircraft from the 509th Bomb Wing, Whiteman Air Force Base, Mo., arrived at Andersen Air Force Base, Guam, last weekend to start their several-month rotation.

The airmen replace those of the 34th Expeditionary Bomb Squadron from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D, who fly the B-1B Bomber and have been on Guam since January.

According to a base news release, bombers are continuously deployed to Andersen as part of the Pacific Command objective to provide quick strike and engagement capabilities in the region.
