KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — A memorial service is scheduled for 10 a.m. on March 3 for Ivory J. Brown, a longtime Vogelweh commissary cashier who died Feb. 6 after suffering a heart attack. Brown was 55.

The service will be held at the Kapaun chapel, and a reception will follow at the chapel annex.

Brown was a 16-year veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked as a cashier at Vogelweh for 10 years.

He is survived by his two children, Lorraine Brown, 20, and Selina Brown, 18, and eight of his 14 siblings.
