ILLESHEIM, Germany – A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Illesheim Chapel for an infant who died Dec. 25.

Shatasha Crawford, 3 months, was found not breathing on Christmas morning by her parents, Pfc. Moyagaye Crawford, 7th Battalion, 159th Aviation Regiment, and Charles Crawford, according to Frauke Davis, a 235th Base Support Battalion spokeswoman.

An investigation into the exact cause of death is ongoing and could take up to six weeks, Davis said.
