A memorial service will be held Friday afternoon for a Katterbach, Germany-based soldier killed last week in a car accident.

Spc. Brent A. Rooks of the 6th Battalion, 52nd Air Defense Artillery, died Oct. 9 in a single-car crash near Blaufelden, in the southern German state of Baden-Württemburg.

The service will be held at 3 p.m. in the Katterbach chapel.
