OSAN AIR BASE, South Korea — A massage parlor near Osan Air Base has been put off-limits after base officials investigated reports that prostitution and other sexual misconduct occurred there, base officials said Friday.

The establishment, Feel Sports Massage, was put off-limits to U.S. military personnel Thursday by Air Force Col. Pat Malackowski, commander of Osan’s 51st Fighter Wing. He took the action based on recommendations of the base’s Armed Forces Disciplinary Control Board, said 1st Lt. Chris Hoyler, a wing spokesman.

The base received information in January that activities associated with prostitution had been occurring at the establishment, including that it allowed patrons to pay to spend time with female employees off the premises, Hoyler said. He said he could not provide additional details because the investigation remains active.

The information was passed to the control board, which discussed it in April in a meeting with a representative of Feel Sports Massage, Hoyler said. The board then recommended to Malackowski that he put the establishment off-limits.
