Marine offices on Okinawa set holiday hours
CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — Several offices on various Marine Corps camps have announced days of closure over the upcoming holidays.
Telephone Billing Office: The Camp Courtney Telephone Billing Office will be closed from Dec. 29 to Jan. 3, reopening for all services on Jan. 4. The Camp Foster office will remain open during that time for all telephone services.
Traffic Management Offices: All Traffic Management Offices will be closed Dec. 23, 26 and 30 and Jan. 2, and will resume normal hours at 7:30 a.m. on Dec. 27 and Jan. 3. Those traveling between Dec. 23 and Dec. 27 are required to pick up their tickets no later than 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 22. Passengers traveling between Dec. 30 and Jan. 3 must pick up their tickets by 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 29. In case of emergencies, travelers may contact the following: passenger section, Marine liaison Kadena at 090-6861-7350; personal property section at 090- 6861-1068; freight section at 090-6861-7731.
Base Supply Office: The Base Property Control Office, Base Warehouse Office, and Direct Support Stock Control will all be closed on Dec. 23, 26 and 30 and Jan. 2 in observance of the holidays. Normal operating hours will resume on Dec. 27 and Jan. 3.
Post Office: Marine Corps post offices will be closed on Dec. 31 and Jan. 2, and will resume normal hours of operation on Jan. 3. Stamps can still be purchased from stamp machines located in the PSC sections at the post offices and at local military exchanges.
