Lakenheath-based AF officer dies after crash

RAF LAKENHEATH — A Lakenheath, England-based Air Force officer died after a car wreck over the weekend, base officials said Tuesday.
First Lt. John J. Biram, of Auburn, Mass., died as the result of a crash Saturday morning, according to Senior Airman Wes Auldridge, a Lakenheath spokesman.
Biram, 26, was a 48th Munitions Squadron officer.
The Suffolk Constabulary is investigating the crash, which occurred somewhere between Cambridge and Newmarket.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at Lakenheath Chapel.
