RAF LAKENHEATH — An RAF Mildenhall airman was found guilty Thursday of possessing child pornography after a four-day court-martial, base legal officials said Friday.

Airman 1st Class John W. Keyes of Mildenhall’s 352nd Operations Support Squadron was sentenced to four months’ confinement, a bad conduct discharge and reduction in rank to E-1 for the offense, a legal office spokeswoman said.

Keyes was also charged with viewing sexually explicit Web sites on a government computer, but was found guilty of only the lesser offense of dereliction of duty in that charge.

Keyes was tried by Col. Gordon Hammock in the judge-only court-martial at RAF Lakenheath.
