YOKOSUKA NAVAL BASE, Japan — U.S. Naval Hospital Yokosuka and its branch clinics in Atsugi, Sasebo, Iwakuni, Yokohama and Camp Fuji have resumed normal operations, a hospital spokesman said Saturday morning.

Hospital services will be available during their normal hours of operations, spokesman Ben Avey said.

Routine outpatient services were suspended following Friday’s earthquake and tsunami. Emergency and inpatient services continued without interruption.

There were no reports of earthquake-related injuries at any of the medical facilities, Avey said. Healthcare workers remain ready to assist with disaster response efforts if called upon, he said.
