German police and the Army’s Criminal Investigative Command are searching for five men believed to be involved in the sexual assault of a 20-year-old U.S. soldier last weekend in Darmstadt.

The Darmstadt-based soldier, who was not identified, was allegedly assaulted near Darmstadt’s Luisenplatz around 2 a.m. Sunday.

Citing police reports, the local newspaper, the Darmstädter Echo, reported that the men were younger than 21 years of age. One of the men had dark skin and wore a red T-shirt.

The newspaper also reported that the victim had been in Germany for only five days.

Police are also seeking a German woman who found the soldier after the incident and drove her to Cambrai-Fritsch Casern. She is described as blond, between 25 and 30 years of age and drives a dark red car.
