Halo 3 tournaments are springing up at Army installations and camps around the globe starting June 1. Local tournament winners take home the latest edition Xbox console, a $450 unit featuring a 120-gigabyte detachable hard drive that can store TV shows, movies, music, photos, extra game levels and other content available from the Xbox LIVE marketplace.

Runner-up contestants walk away with $250 gift cards and third-place finishers win $100 gift cards.
