Fuel prices at AAFES gas stations throughout Europe went up 4.7 cents a gallon for most grades.

The prices of midgrade unleaded rose 4.7 cents in Germany and the United Kingdom, while the cost of a gallon of premium unleaded went up by the same amount in Germany, England, the Azores and Turkey. Regular unleaded — which is sold only in Germany — rose 4.3 cents a gallon to $4.29, the lowest rate in Europe. In the Netherlands, where the Army and Air Force Exchange Service sells fuel at "floor" prices, midgrade unleaded jumped 7.5 cents a gallon to $4.88, while premium unleaded rose 7.1 cents to $5.19.

Diesel prices were unchanged in Germany, the U.K. and Turkey. The cost for a gallon of diesel in the Netherlands rose 6.6 cents.
