YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan — About 150 family members of Yokota’s deployed airmen will get a free dinner on Christmas Day at the Samurai Cafe, courtesy of the Family Support Center.

In a last-minute promotion initiated by the 374th Services Division’s marketing department, the spouses and children can hit the dining facility between 11 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sunday to grab some baked ham, roast turkey or prime rib, complete with all the holiday fixings and desserts.

On Christmas Day, Services representatives plan to hand out buttons with ribbons that say “Proud Spouse of a Deployed Airman” and “Proud Kid of a Deployed Airman” as the families arrive at the Samurai Cafe. They’ll also receive goody bags with treats from Yokota’s “U” customer-reward program.
