The Kaiserslautern Military Community Fire Department hosted German soldiers of the 8th Kompanie, Spezialpionierbatallion 464 from Speyer, at Ramstein Air Base on Thursday. The soldiers were there to familiarize themselves with U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft, should they need to help in an emergency. During the orientation, they watched a demonstration of a firetruck’s water delivery capabilities and checked out other American firefighting equipment.
