Stars and Stripes, SEOUL — U.S. Forces Korea is getting ready to practice getting noncombatants off the peninsula in time of emergency.

The Courageous Channel noncombatant evacuation exercise will take place at U.S. bases across South Korea Nov. 15-18, according to military officials.

Government employees considered nonessential in an emergency and all family members are required to participate and should route through their local center with their completed NEO packets.

USFK officials say that participants can save time by pre-registering online at https://neo.korea. army.mil.

The following NEO centers will be in operation for the semi-annual exercise:

Yongsan Garrison: Collier Field House, from 4 p.m. Nov. 15 to midnight Nov. 16.

Kunsan Air Base: Fitness Center, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 16.

Camp Casey: 8 a.m. Nov. 15 to midnight Nov. 17.

Camp Red Cloud: At the gym, from 8 a.m. Nov. 15 to midnight Nov. 17.

Camp Humphreys: At the gym, from 9 a.m. Nov. 15 until finished on Nov. 17.

Camp Walker: Kelly Fitness Center, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 15; 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 16; and 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 17.

Camp Carroll: At the old gym, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Nov. 15; 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Nov. 16; and 8 a.m. to noon Nov. 17.

Chinhae Naval Base: Robinson Center, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 15.

Osan Air Base: Elementary school from 5 to 11 p.m. Nov. 15 and 16; 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 17.
