DODEA virtual town hall to tackle restructuring and college standards
KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany — The director of Defense Department schools is holding a live online discussion with parents and school and community members worldwide on Tuesday.
Thomas Brady will discuss two major changes to Department of Defense Education Activity schools: the new College and Career Ready Standards and organizational restructuring.
The discussion will follow the format of a town hall meeting using Google’s Hangout on Air, an online tool used to host and broadcast live discussions.
It will be available live on the web and streamed on YouTube, Facebook and Twitter starting at the following times: 6:30 a.m. EST for the States; 12:30 p.m. CET for Europe; and 7:30 p.m. for the Pacific.
