An educator with decades of experience at military schools overseas has been appointed as the assistant associate director for education for the Department of Defense Education Activity.
Charlie Toth, superintendent for the Korea District, was appointed to the post earlier this month, DODEA announced in a news release.
Toth has worked in Department of Defense Dependents Schools for 28 years, including stints as principal of Würzburg High School in Germany and Alconbury High School in England.
Among other things, DODEA described his new duties as providing “leadership in planning, executing and evaluating the effectiveness of DODEA’s core programs in education.”
