DAEGU, South Korea — The 2,500 personnel in the Army’s 501st Sustainment Brigade will have a new commander Wednesday.

Col. Darrell Duckworth will succeed Col. Kathryn A. Burba during a 10 a.m. change of command ceremony at Kelly Field on Camp Walker, according to a news release.

The brigade provides financial, law enforcement and other support on the peninsula. In emergencies, it would conduct noncombatant evacuation operations, among other tasks.

Duckworth most recently was operations officer for Army Material Command at Fort Belvoir, Va.
