Custom chopper builder Billy Lane to visit bases in Germany
June 30, 2006
This July Fourth weekend, you’ll have a chance to meet one of the men behind the chopper/custom motorcycle craze sweeping the cable airwaves in the States.
And it’s not the loud-mouthed beefy guy with the white handlebar moustache who constantly yells at his sons.
Rather, it’s Billy Lane, the rugged and tattooed custom bike builder featured on several Discovery Channel shows.
Lane will be at Army and Air Force installations in southwest Germany for the July Fourth weekend, holding meet and greet/autograph sessions.
On Saturday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., Lane will judge a best bike contest and sign autographs at the Air Force’s Vogelweh exchange.
On Sunday around 2:30 p.m., Lane visits the Army post in Baumholder for more motorcycle judging and a 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. autograph session at the July Fourth festival site.
Ramstein Air Base plays host to Lane Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. for autographs at the base’s Freedom Fest.
