A student at Croughton American School at RAF Croughton, England, has won a $5,000 U.S. Savings Bond from the Army and Air Force Exchange Service.
Marshall Duncan, son of Chaplain (Capt.) Rives Duncan and Jan Duncan, was a sixth-grader last year when he submitted an entry form in AAFES’ “You Made the Grade” promotion.
Students with at least a B average in school can receive a book of coupons worth $50 from their local exchange manager. Each coupon book includes an entry form to win the savings bond.
The exchange service supports the “You Made the Grade” program for students in grades one to six and another one for students in grades seven to 12. The savings bonds are presented to winners four times a year.
