(Tribune News Service) — Camp Pendleton officials said crews were tackling a small brush fire in the Whiskey impact area of the military base Tuesday.

In a tweet shortly before 12:30 p.m., officials said smoke from the fire could be seen in the surrounding community, but there was no threat to people or buildings.
