¶ The Oct. 30 story “New winner in Marine Corps Marathon” contained inaccurate information. Two guides helping Army 1st Lt. Ivan Castro run Sunday’s Marine Corps Marathon did finish the marathon, but not with Castro.

¶ A photo caption in the Oct. 15 edition should have identified the singers at the Navy Ball at Sasebo Naval Base, Japan, as the National Anthem Choir of the Filipino-American Association of Sasebo.
