¶ The gas prices going into effect Saturday, provided by the Army and Air Force Exchange Service for a Wednesday story, were incorrect. The correct new prices are:

Unleaded: $2.951 a gallon

Premium unleaded: $3.155 a gallon

Diesel prices will remain at $2.969 a gallon.

¶ A June 29 listing of Independence Day events planned for U.S. bases in Japan should have said Yokosuka Naval Base’s July Fourth celebration is scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday at Berkey Field. In the event of rain, fireworks only will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Berkey Field.
