• A story in Saturday’s editions about a driving safety campaign in England had incorrect figures. Suffolk SafeCam in England has fixed speed cameras at eight sites in Suffolk County, England, and uses mobile cameras at 52 other locations.

• A story in Tuesday’s editions about the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit leaving Afghanistan contained the wrong rank of one of the Marines. He is Sgt. Maj. Tom Hall.

• In a story that recently appeared in Stars and Stripes about Gulf War syndrome, The Associated Press erroneously attributed comments about a study into a possible cause for Gulf War syndrome to Joseph F. Collins, a researcher at VA Maryland Healthcare System and one of the study’s authors.

It was Dr. John Feussner, the study’s senior author, who said that bacterial infection was “not the smoking gun” and is “off the table at this point.”
