A July 20 interview with 173rd Airborne Brigade commander Col. Charles "Chip" Preysler should have stated that the nine soldiers killed during a July 13 attack near Wanat, Afghanistan, were occupying an unnamed temporary vehicle patrol base. The soldiers, part of the 2nd Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, had recently moved from Forward Operating Base Bella.
