A March 31 story incorrectly reported a fact about Operation Northern Watch. On April 14, 1994, two F-15s assigned to Operation Provide Comfort — the predecessor to Operation Northern Watch — shot down two U.S. Army Black Hawk helicopters after misidentifying them as Iraqi aircraft, killing all 26 people aboard the helicopters.
