KAISERSLAUTERN, Germany – Due to road construction on Dr. Hitzelberger Strasse, Landstuhl Regional Medical Center’s main gate will close to outbound traffic for roughly three weeks beginning Monday.Gate 4 will remain open for outbound traffic, and Gate 2 will open for outbound traffic from 4-6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays except U.S. holidays, according to a LRMC press release announcing the disruption. The base’s primary gate, Gate 3, will handle only incoming traffic during the construction. The road work is unrelated to on-base parking lot repairs that prompted the closure of Gate 6, which should reopen Nov. 13.
