Col. Gamble to head Landstuhl
Col. William R. Gamble will assume command of Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, Germany, during a 9 a.m. ceremony Aug. 4.
Since Col. Rhonda Cornum stepped down as Landstuhl commander in early June, Col. James M. Francis has been the center’s commander on an interim basis.
Gamble has been serving in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army, Manpower and Reserve Affairs. Francis is the former chief of medicine at Landstuhl.
Cornum’s new position is a U.S. Army Forces Command surgeon in Fort McPherson, Ga.
