A Sept. 19 story about three Germany-based soldiers killed recently in Iraq included incomplete information on the unit assignments for two of the soldiers. Sgt. Jason L. Merrill and Pfc. Edwin A. Andino II were assigned to the 1st Armored Division’s Company B, 1st Battalion, 77th Armor Regiment, and in Iraq were attached to the 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment.
