CAMP FOSTER, Okinawa — The 2008 Camp Schwab Festival is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday at the Beachhead Parking area, according to a Marine Corps Community Services news release.

The festival will run from 3 to 10 p.m. Saturday and 1 to 10 p.m. Sunday and will include live performances by Puddle of Mudd and Saliva, games, rides and food.

The event is free and open to all. Pets, bottles, coolers and alcohol purchased outside the venue are not allowed.

A shuttle will run from designated Schwab parking lots to the event. If you drive, but then decide to drink alcohol, a "daiko" taxi service will be available to return you and your car home.
