CAMP HANSEN, Okinawa — A memorial for Marine Staff Sgt. Dwayne E. Williams is scheduled to be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Camp Hansen West Chapel.

Williams, 28, of Baltimore, was an explosive ordnance disposal technician assigned to the base’s 9th Engineer Support Battalion.

He was killed Aug. 24 in Iraq’s Anbar province when a bomb he was dismantling blew up.

He had deployed to Iraq from Okinawa in late February.
